By drawing air in from the top and channelling it down to the coil, it creates an impermeable barrier against leakage while ensuring exceptional flavour intensity.
A key upgrade for the Z Subohm 5 is the refined child-safe "Push-to-Open" top-fill mechanism. This spring-loaded design makes refilling cleaner and faster than previous threaded versions, while ensuring the tank remains secure during transport. The tank is constructed from durable stainless steel and utilises a wide-bore 810 drip tip for maximum airflow.
At the heart of its performance is the Geek Vape Z Series Coil platform. The Z Subohm 5 is optimised for the high-performance Z XM (Extended Mesh) coils, which feature a denser mesh weave to distribute heat more evenly. This "Boost Version" technology significantly improves flavour reproduction and coil longevity, with Geek Vape stating these coils can process up to 60ml of e-liquid before requiring replacement.
